Poppoff Inc. On-Site Visit #2

A few years after Poppoff Inc's initial website redesign, it was time for a refresh. The goal wasn't a complete overhaul, just revisiting the visual assets and adding pages related to their service offerings, especially since the scale of the projects they were working on had substantially increased. They invited me back out for another on-site shoot, and it was even more enlightening and fulfilling than the first time! The second visit allowed me to capture larger projects and explore the jobs from the sky. The weather was a bit hazy with consistent wildfire smoke in the atmosphere, but luckily most of the shots turned out crisp and vibrant. My favorite part was getting to witness all of the cool technology and equipment in action—these folks make construction look easy, but I can tell you that it requires a deep sense of teamwork, clear communication, strong leadership, and keen attention to detail to execute this type of work with such great, long-lasting results.

To kick off the project, we spent three days on-site with Poppoff's crew. The shoot covered everything: aerial footage with the drone, ground-level handheld work capturing the machines and the crew in action, close-up detail shots of equipment and finished surfaces, job site documentation across multiple locations, and shots of the team. The curb machine got its own dedicated attention, with footage of it spitting out a beautiful curb from both the ground level and air. The goal behind the new photo and video assets wasn't just to document their work—it was to make a prospective client or employee feel the scale of what Poppoff can do and trust that they've done it effectively before.
